Confidence, Your Own Version

Confidence is something we often admire in others, but it isn’t always what it seems. Someone may appear calm and assured on the outside, while inside they feel just as uncertain as you do. That’s because confidence isn’t one-size-fits-all, it looks different for each of us.

For you, confidence might mean speaking up at work, starting a new relationship, asking for what you need, or simply being kinder to yourself. For someone else, it might be something completely different. Comparing ourselves to those who seem confident can be misleading, what matters is discovering what confidence means for you.

In therapy, I work with people to gently uncover the unconscious patterns and old stories that can hold them back. We can gently rewrite these patterns, old beliefs that no longer serve and explore new ways of thinking and feeling that allow confidence to grow naturally. Giving you tools and knowledge to be able to move forward.

It often starts small: noticing a moment when you responded differently, realising you handled something better than before, or feeling braver in situations that once felt impossible. These are powerful shifts, each one a message to your unconscious that says, I can do this.

My role isn’t to tell you how to be confident. It’s to support you in uncovering the resources you already have, so you can build your own version of confidence, one that feels safe, real, and sustainable.

Because confidence isn’t about being fearless or never doubting yourself. It’s about trusting that, even with the doubts, you can still move forward.
